Advantages to applying in the Investor category:

  • Number of points required to qualify for selection is much smaller than in the Skilled Worker category (35 compared to 67)
  • Priority processing

Minimum requirements:

  • Demonstrate the necessary business experience
  • Possess a personal net worth (for applicant and spouse) of at least CDN $800,000
  • Be willing to invest CDN $400,000 with the Federal Government of Canada or the Government of the Province of Quebec.
